I 2025 er Trondheim vertsby for VM i nordiske grener. Her kan du lese om hvordan du som student kan ta del i folkefesten!

Ski-VM arrangeres fra 26. februar til 9. mars i Granåsen i Bymarka. Over 200 000 publikummere er forventet å ta turen gjennom mesterskapet, både til arenaen og ute langs løypene. Dette kommer til å bli en folkefest Trondheim kommer til å snakke lenge om, og når VM i nordiske grener kommer til Nordens beste studieby, er studentene selvfølgelig med.
Billetter til arenaen

Studentcamp i Bymarka
For dem som heller ønsker å pakke sekken med kakao og oppleve mesterskapet ute i marka, er det også lagt opp til det langs VM-løypene. NTNUI kommer i tillegg til å sette opp og organisere en egen studentcamp ved Sørem gård. Her vil det være gode muligheter for å komme opp for enkelte dager, eller campe i en lengre periode, alene eller med venner. Det vil også være toaletter, førstehjelpspersonell og vakter i nærheten som sørger for at det skal være trygt for alle på stedet. Studentcampen åpner 1. mars og er gratis.

Det vil ikke være mulig å kjøre bil til Granåsen under mesterskapet. Det blir likevel gode muligheter for kollektivtransport opp, med skyttelbuss fra Munkegata i tillegg til at AtB øker sitt vanlige tilbud. På Trondheim kommunes VM-nettside kan du finne informasjon om hvordan man kommer seg til Granåsen med buss, ski eller til fots.
I tillegg til publikumsfest i Granåsen, legger VM også opp til en ordentlig folkefest i resten av Trondheim. Om du ikke rekker å dra opp i Granåsen, vil du som student kunne følge konkurransene hos Sit, som viser VM i sine kantiner. Medaljeseremoniene på Torvet vil være gratis og åpne for alle, og det blir store gratiskonserter på samme sted. I tillegg blir det aktiviteter i hele Midtbyen, med matboder, uteliv og flere kulturarrangementer. The World Ski Championships will be held from 26 February to 9 March in Granåsen in Bymarka. Over 200,000 spectators are expected to make the journey during the championship, both to the arena and out along the tracks. Tickets to the arena

Student camp in Bymarka
For those who would rather pack their bags with cocoa and experience the championship out in the field, there are also plans for that along the WC trails. NTNUI will also set up and organize a separate student camp at Sørem gård. Here there will be good opportunities to visit for certain days, or camp for a longer period, alone or with friends. There will also be toilets, first aid personnel and guards nearby to ensure that it is safe for everyone on site. The student camp opens on 1 March and is free.
It will not be possible to drive to Granåsen during the championship. There will still be good opportunities for public transport, through shuttle bus from Munkegata, in addition to AtB increasing its usual offer. On Trondheim municipality's WC website you can find information on how to get to Granåsen by bus, ski or on foot.
In addition to the party in Granåsen, the WC is also planning a proper party in the rest of Trondheim. If you don't have time to go up to Granåsen, as a student you will be able to follow the competitions at Sit, which shows the WC in its canteens. The medal ceremonies at Torvet will be free and open to everyone, and there will be big, free concerts at the same venue. In addition, there will be activities throughout Midtbyen, with food stalls, nightlife and several cultural events.
